History
The Art of Translation was founded in New York in 1996. At the time, texts were sent by fax and library research was daily. While human translation has become more efficient and interconnected, the care of true professionals has not changed.
Today, the agency is a group of colleagues devoted to the arts, to nuance, to professional responsibility and to the art of translation.
Director
MOLLY STEVENS
Molly serves as director, coordinator and as a second pair of eyes on all assignments. She is also one of the French to English translators in the group. She has furthermore maintained her own studio practice for some twenty years. It is her direct experience as a translator, manager and artist that nourishes her complete understanding of projects and makes her easy to work with throughout the process.
